Hello, and welcome to our sparkly new blog.

At the gateway to the Peak District, Bay Tree Books & Gifts in Glossop is brimming with delights. Presented over two floors, our little shop has buckets of character and imagination that appeal to every age, and preference. As booksellers, we're pretty passionate about storytelling and love spending our days talking to our wonderful customers about books old and new. SO, we thought we'd continue to do just that, but on a blog, so we can reach lots more of you lovely lot. 

We think bookshops are pretty special, and things to be celebrated! Our little shop has been a book shop for over thirty years and under our charge for the past fourteen. Many changes over the past decade have kept us and others alike on our toes but we've adapted and had a lot of fun with it! We're proud to offer a service that's 'beyond words' with a carefully selected range of gorgeous gifts and greetings.
